Mobile apps
iPhone and Android apps, from first sketch to store approval.
We design and build mobile apps in Swift and Kotlin, or cross-platform when that suits the budget better. We have taken our own apps through App Review, so store submission is part of every project.
This is for you if
- You have an app idea and a budget, but no technical co-founder.
- Your current app is slow, crashes, or hasn't had an update in a year.
- You have an iPhone app and your customers keep asking for Android (or the other way round).
What you get
- Product brief and v1 scope
- Screen designs for phone, and tablet if needed
- Native build in SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose, or React Native
- Subscriptions or one-time purchases (StoreKit, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat)
- Privacy policy, support and marketing pages
- App Store and Google Play submission
What this can look like
Examples of the kind of work we take on.
Health and habit trackers
Logging, reminders, charts and a weekly summary. Onward, our GLP-1 tracker, is one we built for ourselves.
Field and operations apps
Offline forms, photo capture and sync for teams who work away from a desk.
Companion apps
Bookings, account details and push notifications for customers who already buy from you.
Apps we've built for ourselves
Onward
The honest GLP-1 companion.
Track your GLP-1 medication doses, weight and protein in one calm place, with a free tier that stays free.
Backshear
Radar you can read. Every storm since 1991, bought once.
Pro-grade weather radar made legible. Scrub every storm back to 1991, watch live radar, and get a plain-language narrator. A one-time purchase.

Common questions
Native or cross-platform?
If one platform matters most and the app needs to feel just right, native. If you need both platforms on a tighter budget, React Native usually makes sense. We recommend one on the first call and explain why.
Can you take over an existing app?
Yes. We start with a short code review so you know what state the app is in before you commit to anything.
